A few photos I took of my cousin in her last month of pregnancy.

Baby Cakes & Cup Cakes!!!

I made this "baby cake" for my friends' soon to be daughter. The bottom layer is approximately 40 newborn diapers. The middle layer is a baby bottle wrapped in six receiving blankets and a bath towel. The top layer is wash cloths and a matching bath toy.

Below are the cupcakes I made for the butterfly themed baby shower! Pink colored cake "strawberry" with vanilla frosting and hand-made royal icing butterflies.

Wedding Center Pieces

Started with gluing 2 1/2" purple ribbon on the bottom of my 8" cylander vase.

Glued 0.5" glass squares in 3 straight rows to replicate a disco ball.


Almost done! All that's left is to fill the vase 3/4 full with water and put a floating candle in it. The table will be finished off with berry colored fake rose pedals. Can't wait to put them all together!!!

I just wanted to announce to everyone that my boyfriend of six years, proposed to me at midnight on New Year's Eve while we were at Disneyland. Of course I said YES! Now to start planning and creating our wedding...

Creative Projects List

I've been feeling a bit un-creative lately. Part of which is because this past month was consumed with organizing a Luau fundraiser for Lindsay. (In which we were able to raise $814.00 for her! check out the blog and photos @ www.cotaforlindsaym.com)

So now that that is over, I do not plan on doing any "big" activities for awhile... hopefully being able to focus some more on my creative side.

Some ideas I want to attempt:

> Design a new website page purely for my photography hobby
> Paint decorations for our new apartment
> Make some vinyl decor for our new apartment
> Draw a picture (haven't done that in a while!)
> Take some new film photos & go develop them
> Do a new digital photoshoot
> And last but not least attempt some resin casting for the first time!

Also, in August I shall be making a cake for Idi's birthday so I should be posting that the early part of August. I think I'll need to attempt making myself a costume for the party as well... wish me luck!!!
